Calçadas

This consists of two Parts of my collections, which consists by being inspired by the Calçadas Portuguesas.

I have designed each pattern and cross stitched each one by hand using white cotton Aida and DMC threads.

Below you can see both collections and some photographs of where I got my inspiration from, some of the most known Ruas of Portugal and Madeira.

Hopefully you can see the similarity in my art work and enjoy a memory from when you visited and walked across these calçadas too.
